For many first time players, the concept is altogether confusing as well. I even have friends who are experienced online trolls (I know, I know) that found this game hard to work with at times. While it is a fairly unique concept, the execution is very hit and miss. At the end of the day, it feels like the concept itself is just too strange to really pull people in. The host isn't memorable and therefore doesn't help the situation. My friends and I have never seen the same prompt twice, but the variety doesn't help make the game more entertaining. Unfortunately, this game isn't always very funny, despite comedy being the clear purpose. While it is worth many more points, it seems slightly less likely to swing an entire game than many of the other final rounds in other games. The final round works similarly to the other rounds, but uses a picture that you take out of context instead of text. Gene will compete as another player and can even win the game. It's worth noting that if there are an odd number of players, an NPC named Gene joins the game. At the end of the game, whoever has the most points has "survived". The players then vote on their favorite out-of-context internet post, and each vote earns the creator points and gives some pity points to the person who got taken out of context.
With a funny geek for a host and a 90s-computer theme, this game asks players to answer opinion-based questions, then take one another's answers completely out of context for maximum comedic effect. This game is for 3 to 8 players and allows an audience to participate by voting. One last note: the music in this game is fantastic and a great complement to its 70s aesthetic. It is also easily the best amongst the three Fibbage games, largely because of Enough About You. My experience, however, is that almost everyone manages to enjoy this game. The only real problem with this game is that it offers nothing for those who aren't fans of deception games. The audience feature allows everyone to participate even if you have more than 8 players, and you can play for a very, very long time without ever seeing the same prompt twice. If you're a fan of deception games (especially ones with a comedy focus), then you're sure to get a huge kick out of this game. Like most Jackbox games, the final round in both modes is worth so many points that it can significantly swing a game, ensuring that almost everyone still has a chance to win in the end. This mode also has a unique final round where players submit one truth and one lie about themselves in an effort to fool the others for some last-minute points. In the Enough About You mode, the facts are about the players themselves (with the player that is the subject of the fact tasked with providing the truth). If a player is having trouble coming up with a lie within the time limit, they can click the "Lie for Me" button for half points. If they pick one of the lies, the player who made up that lie gets points. If a player picks the answer that is the truth, they get points. The idea is one most social game fans will be familiar with: you are given a weird fact with a blank and you're tasked with filling in that blank with a lie that will fool the other players into thinking it's the truth. Both modes are for 2 to 8 players and allow for an audience that can participate by voting on lies to fool the main players. This third iteration is the first to include a second game mode, and this game mode is called Enough About You. So, I will be reviewing it with this price in mind.įibbage began as a standalone game released before the first Jackbox Party Pack, with an XL version included in the first pack and a sequel in the second. If evenly split between the games, that comes out to 5 dollars per game.

This game currently costs 25 dollars when purchased through the marketplace if bought at full price. The pack consists of 5 different party games that I'll review separately below. I do not recommend that you start with this one (since it certainly isn't the best one in the series), but it is pretty enjoyable and may be a great one to buy if you have one or two of the others and like them. They consist of 5 online party games that can be played using a web browser on a smartphone or other device as a controller.
